A few years back, I was stuck. Not failing, just drifting. Doing okay on paper but feeling like I was walking in circles. So I started doing this weird exercise: I’d imagine I was taking a trip to my purpose—like it was an actual place I could go—and I’d ask myself what I’d pack.

Sounds ridiculous, but stick with me. I’d start with the obvious stuff, then realize it felt wrong. Music. Snacks I actually like. Photos of people who matter. Random shit like blue cheese dressing. And somewhere in that process, the bag would start telling me what I was ignoring about myself.

This exercise led me to Gents Journey. It’s helped other guys find their thing too. Over the next three days, you’re gonna pack a bag, realize what’s missing from your life, and figure out where you’re actually supposed to be heading. No fluff. No perfect plans. Just honest work that leads somewhere real. Let’s do this!

Day 1: Pack Your Bag (What matters?)

This is about discovery. You’re packing a metaphorical bag for a trip to your purpose. What goes in? Music that moves you. Snacks that comfort you. Photos of people who matter. Things you can’t live without.

This reveals your core values and what actually energizes you. Be honest, not aspirational. Your bag is telling you something important.

Day 2: The Gap (What’s missing?)
